It's the fear that is making you aware of it. So breathe in peace snd love and breathe out fear and anxiety. Pay attention to it on your terms. Don't fear it. You will not die. This came on because it's part of your anxiety, and it will pass. God be with you. 🙏🏼

Appreciate this channel so much! Even if I overcome OCD, I will never ever forgive it for everything it's done to me, and not to mention messing up my relationships with my family. Having OCD makes me feel like my own brain hates me and loves to torture me. I would never wish OCD on anyone, not even the most horrible people in the world. EDIT: To anyone else with OCD, know it's not your fault for having it, you're not alone and praying everything gets better for you. 🙏🙏🙏❤
There's a toxic psychoanalytic culture in wich we've learnt "it must mean something". If you say a jocke, it is associated with a repressed desire. If you have a thought, there's a hidden desire. I spent years 💲💲💲 analyzing hocd getting every year worse that the previous one. Is that fair? It isn't at all. Years and years seeking for different therapists and none figured out it was just ocd
The difficult thing about SOOCD for me is that there isn't anything inherently wrong with being gay/bi. For stuff like POCD I can always fall back on the fact that I find the thoughts it causes morally reprehensible, betraying that it's 'just ocd'. For SOOCD it's like "I don't like the thoughts of being gay/bi" "why don't you like that, are you homophobic?" "No I'm not" "Well if you're not homophobic then you must have no problem with the thoughts and therefore be in denial" "but I do have problems with the thought" .... I've been made to feel like saying that I'm unequivocally straight is homophobic in itself because people keep talking about how people who value their 'straightness' are actually insecure bigots who are probably also in denial.
Here is the best advice I can give to anyone suffering from horrific thoughts and images which are extremely common with OCD. The instant these terrifying intrusive torments begin to harass you, burst into beautiful praise and worship to our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Whenever I do this, I feel much better and the torture stops immediately. This course of action never fails and I get to exalt the Precious Lamb of God. Win Win Win EVERY TIME. Thank You JESUS.❤❤❤❤❤
My panic attacks cause PVC's so I'm afraid to induce that with exposure therapy. I just don't leave my house unless with someone else. I miss driving.

I've had my first 2 similar experiences this year and until now, i had no idea this was a thing.
This is the new straight forward “spirituality”, for real. This is what “spirituality” is about, about shredding/facing beliefs/fears in order to be happy. And this is doing it without the spiritual names, which I find it also pretty awesome as another option. Because it’s basically the same aim. And this is the time that we are more than ready to receive it, it’s being enough self destruction already 😅 thank you : )

Yes I struggle immensely with the thought I’m going to hurt myself. I think it then is the compulsion. I checked the time and then my brain tells me oh my gosh it’s only been three hours. You’re gonna hurt yourself. Go hurt yourself and then I find myself trying to avoid time and then I check the time and then it’s like oh we have the whole day ahead of us. You’re absolutely gonna hurt yourself. Just end it. We’re really tired of feeling the anxiety and then I get very panicky and then I checked the time and then the time is only 10 am and the voice says it’s only 10 o’clock. We have the whole day ahead of ourselves again. I’m very tired of feeling this way. You better end it, is this OCD?
It’s a recurring thought of so saddle thoughts that I’m going to hurt myself and then I see the time and then my thought tells me you have the whole day ahead of yourself. You’re not gonna make it. You bet it just ended and then I said to panic because I think oh my gosh am I gonna end it and then I try and do another hour and then it says you’ve done only an hour you still have seven hours left of the day you better end it so I’m myself checking time a lot so I didn’t even realise it was OCD and this video made me cry because I was questioning myself if I was gonna do it. How would I go about this type
I have the thought that I’m going to hurt myself and then I have to check the time to make sure I’ve gotten through the day to see if I haven’t hurt myself so if I check the time time seems to go really slow and then my OC details Me oh look you still havethree hours left of the day you might hurt yourself and I didn’t even realise it was OCD
Man I'm really struggling these intrusive thoughts are the worse
being in constant rumination without any reprieve makes it impossible to exist in reality. it tinges everything with this dysphoric half-awareness. especially with metacognition rumination. impossible
what really helps me is realizing even if i “like” the thought, it doesn’t mean im gonna act on it if it doesn’t align with my morals, we’re in more control than we think and always remember this!!

I got diagnosed with OCD since my teenage, spent my whole life fighting OCD. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Congrats on your recovery. Most persons never realizes psilocybin can be used as a miracle medication to save lives. Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them
YES very sure of Dr.benfungi. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
100% agree I used to have Psychosis and paranoid thoughts like "people thinking about me talking about me etc. Very odd behavior after getting off Adderall from 7-16. Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. The emotions that came out helped me understand behavior etc more. Wont ever need to do it again because I'm happy and contempt forever, but I wish more people did this to alter their perception of reality. Would help with healing much trauma

I was diagnosed with GAD many years ago. But after watching your videos n some others im beginning to think i was misdiagnosed or that it has maybe progressed to OCD (catastrophic thinking). This makes me feel so much less alone. While i dont wish this on anyone im glad im not the only one going thru it. My mind is in a constant spin n im always on high alert. It can be exhausting.

I just want permanent relief. Its been SEVERELY distressing these past 4 months. My mind has created so many fears of what could happen in the future. And the amount of guilt and shame ive felt is literally unbearable. I feel like my life is over. I feel like im not even the same person anymore since ive started ruminating 4 months ago.

Im in therapy for ptsd. I recently spoke about my ocd to my therapist and he said meds would help. I have an aprn but i never talked about my ocd because it was just a part of me. How do i explain myself when i have never mentioned it before? I have known her for years. Thanks

Hey! I’ve been using ERP phrases against my intrusive thoughts, and it’s been working really well. I usually say “maybe yes, maybe not” or just say “and so what” whenever i have a scary intrusive thought. Last day a thought popped into my mind: what if saying these phrases have become a compulsion themselves? It’s really a scary thought, because these are my only weapons to fight my ocd. Do you have any suggestions? Is this just another ocd “what if” thought of mine?

When I've pen in my hand while studying I feel like stab it in someone around me or someone I think of .It just makes me scared to hold the pen again in my hand .I feel like throwing something heavy on the little child around me or something harm myself or do something violent.

Thank you so much! You’re extremely helpful. Nobody understands what I have personally experienced. My dad thinks that I should’ve never been driving in the first place. It hurts. I don’t wish this upon anyone. Plus, I got diagnosed with autism, which doesn’t help either. When I was younger, I couldn’t tell where my body was at because of my autism. So I struggled with figuring out where my car was at as I would drive. I’m doing better now. However, I still struggle with it.
my new obsession is the thought of earth spinning and it scares me and I have visions and different thoughts about it and what could go wrong even if it’s logically unproven it just is uneasy for me sitting with the thought that we are rotating, anyone else ??
